Caroline Hatton Caroline Hatton was born in France after her parents moved there from their native Vietnam. She grew up in Paris, then attended graduate school at UCLA. Caroline’s books are inspired by memorable experiences, such as what her Papa always said about moon cakes or a friend’s tale about a childhood pet. About the Illustrator

Felicia Hoshino makes her picture book debut with Little Sap and Monsieur Rodin. To research the poses and movements for this book, Hoshino visited a local Cambodian dance group. She also drew from her own memories of performing Japanese classical dance as a child. Hoshino lives and works in San Francisco, California.
