Hammer of Witches
Review
By Kutztown University Fall Book Review 2014
There is magic in storytelling. This book's genre was surprising. It was more historical fiction and less fantasy, and was an enjoyable read with many different characters that would appeal to both genders. The book even has a section in the back that discusses parts of the true voyage of Columbus. This book is recommended to 7-9 grade students, with the possibility of using parts of it for a social studies lesson on Columbus' voyage.
