Maria and I especially enjoy books written in Spanish and English, when the words are mixed in together in a sort of Spanglish, which is the way we speak at home. And, we really have enjoyed reading these poems together and rolling the word and images around our mouths and brains. I am always extra grateful to share books with my child that capture the spirit and imagery of our rich Latino culture and history. — Tiki Tiki Blog
