was born in Frankfurt, Germany. She knew she wanted to be an illustrator since she was in second grade and wrote a story called "I Want to Be an Illustrator." A self-taught artist, Stephanie has illustrated many books and magazine stories for children. She lives in Shell Beach, California, with her cat Dweezel.
