Parrots Over Puerto Rico
Review
By Ithaca Child
The first thing you notice about this book is that there is no title on the cover, just parrots with brilliant green and blue feathers cut from paper. The second thing you notice, when you open the book, is that you have to turn it sideways so it's longer than wide.
Supplemental text and photos describe more about the parrot recovery program and a timeline notes important dates in the history of Puerto Rico and the parrots.
