Say Hola to Spanish at the Circus

Review
By School Library Journal

The “Say Hola” folks do it again, mixing English and Spanish in just the right proportion so readers and listeners can clearly understand. This time, the characters go to the circus “Come to el circo. Bring tu mamá¡,/and tus abuelos, papá¡.” A pig, lamb, rabbit, and turtle are also attending. In the one-ring circus, children will see Payasos (clowns), seals, lions, an octopus playing instruments, and a chicken… Cartoon illustrations in flat golds, reds, purples, and blues have humorous details. Lots of two-page spreads give a sense of the size of the ring and the crowd.
