About the Creators

Jacqueline Sweeney

Jacqueline Sweeney knew she wanted to be a writer from the time she was in fourth grade. She is now a full-time writer who also finds time to teach poetry writing workshops in schools all over New York state. In her spare time, Jacqueline sings 1940s jazz and plays the piano. A native of Washington, DC, she now lives in Stone Ridge, New York, with her two cats.

Anna Rich

Anna Rich has provided illustrations for national magazines and newspapers. She has wanted to be an illustrator since she was in high school. Ms. Rich attended the Rhode Island School of Design and works for the Graphic Artists Guild. She resides in Elmont, New York.
