About the Creators
is the author of more than twenty books for young readers. She teaches in the low-residency MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults, Vermont College of Fine Arts. was born in Frankfurt, Germany. She knew she wanted to be an illustrator since she was in second grade and wrote a story called "I Want to Be an Illustrator." A self-taught artist, Stephanie has illustrated many books and magazine stories for children. She lives in Shell Beach, California, with her cat Dweezel.
