Silent Star
Review
By Library Media Connection
An excellent blend of sports, history, and overcoming disabilities, the story of major leaguer William Hoy has much to offer. . . . The book is an interesting look at a lesser-known personality; his determination to avoid being defined by his deafness is encouraging and inspiring. Oil paintings capture both action and feeling.
