As Fast As Words Could Fly
Review
By Tales From the Typer
This book is targeted primarily to children (and their parents) between the ages of 4 and 12 years old. My own two children fall in this range so I was keen to have them read it and explain the historical context to them. Further, though, I believe that anybody would benefit from reading this book. I firmly believe in the words of George Santayana that “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” As Fast As Words Could Fly reminds us that it would be a tragedy to forget the lessons learned in our not-too-distant past in America.
