Etched in Clay
Review
By Missouri State University
Cheng’s use of multiple characters’ viewpoints grounds the reader in Dave’s world as she leads the reader through his at times heartbreaking life story. (It is wise to begin the book by reading the short descriptions of these characters in the preface.) This is an excellent choice for students of both history and art.
