First Come the Zebra
Review
By MultiCultural Review
Barasch has created an interesting text with contemporary illustrations. . . . In a country, which has experienced ethnic and political differences, the positive story reminds readers that Kenyans can work together. . . . The author’s notes provide a context for the story, and ink and watercolor illustrations provide visualization. This story lends itself to a variety of discussion topics. For this reason it is recommended.
