Our heroine uses quick thinking, a couple of goldfish and inventiveness to produce the results that will make her grandmother’s sad tears turn joyful. Kids and grandparents all over will enjoy this story told from Nancy’s point of view. Nancy’s own voice is what really makes this story engaging. Authentic-sounding dialogue and dreamy muted artwork blend handsomely to complete the storytelling. Andrea Cheng provides a wonderful serving of culture with a special helping of family.
