My Teacher Can Teach…Anyone!

Review
By Booklist

A boy’s loving boast about his teacher (‘My teacher is so good, she can teach… anyone!’) carries little listeners through the alphabet from astronaut to zillionaire as he describes how his teacher could, for example, ‘teach the Governor how to host a lunch,’ or ‘teach a Heavyweight how to throw a punch.’ The classroom where kids role-play the jobs is a model of inclusiveness, and both specialized (astronaut, ballet dancer), and everyday (janitor, mechanic) occupations are highlighted. The illustrations, almost startling in their brightness, fit the happy boastfulness of the book… this is… a fun peek at careers that are just right for young children.
