Sharing Our Homeland: Palestinian and Jewish Children at Summer Peace Camp is a beautiful photographic essay and documentary on a Palestinian and Jewish Children’s Peace Camp held at Givat Haviva, in Israel, near where both Alya, a Palestinian girl camper, and Yuval, a Jewish boy camper, live. The goal of Peace Camp is to build bridges and understanding among campers. It is from efforts exactly like this that lasting peace can start. Sharing Our Homeland is an excellent resource for parents and teachers and children of all background. It is also a very loving, beautiful story about real people today.
