
LEE & LOW BOOKS was founded in 1991 and published its first list in spring 1993. One of the books on our debut list was Baseball Saved Us, which to this day is our bestselling backlist title. The first-ever picture book about Japanese internment camps, Baseball Saved Us helped define us as a risk taker when it comes to subject matter, and set the standard for many of the books we have published since then.
