Upon opening the book before I even turn the first page I am met with a large map of the world. Several countries are highlighted. As I venture further into the book I am given a lesson on the moon and its phases. One page further, and I am in New York City. The book continues like this taking me all over the world with one thing in common on each page, the moon. The book flows smoothly as I hop from country to country as if hopping on stones in a river. The natural flow of the poetry combined with the beautifully images give the illusion of actual travel. I could feel myself becoming immersed in the culture of each location as I learned about the moon and its impact on people all the world over. I can’t possibly pick a favorite poem as they all go together like a happy…
