Review
By YA's The Word
Such a pleasant surprise. The author, Karen Sandler, crafts a huge and vibrant world- Loka - compelling in its detail… Interwoven into this story of inequality and enforced service, we have a story of intrigue, romance and sacrifice.
…
The character development is superb… The plot kept me reading on, wanting to discover what was going on and who was involved on the side of good, and who on the side of exploitation
…
If you like dystopian fiction I’d recommend this one to you, it has less violence than many of the books out there, and what it lacks in gore, it makes up for with finesse.
